I made my invites using black card stock and ivory resume paper. I embellished them with a heart shaped rubber stamp and silver acid free marker. I made everything including the envelopes. My invitees thought they were beautiful and heartfelt. I spent maybe 25 dollars for 100 invitations if you don't count the ink... but I still have almost an entire thing of ink left.

I'm getting mine from a super amazing girl on ebay. For around $100 I'm getting 100 invitations, envelopes, reply cards, reception cards and thank you cards. She has a LOT of different designs. Then, once I get mine, I'm going to add a ribbon and rhinestone slide to put it all together. If you'd like the name of the seller, just email me. :)

Inflate a balloon, write the information on it with a marker, deflate the balloon and put it in an envelope. Then your guest needs to inflate it to read the information. And when it is deflated, it looks all-cool-like. Or a variation, find a company that does custom balloons and they can print your information on the balloon.

Target has some really cute invites along with templates! The cost is about $25 for 50 and then you print on them yourself. They also come with the reply cards and 2 test cards! Good Luck!

I bought mine at Wal-Mart and printed them out on my home computer myself. Wal-Mart, craft stores and eBay are just a few places you can get these invitation kits. Wilton was the maker of my invitation kit. You go to there web site, select what your designing and your on your way to your perfect invitation. You can choose already made up word templates or create your own wording. Next you choose font size, font color, alignment and font style. It is so easy! Luckily the invites I choose were on clearance at Wal-Mart for $11 for a box of 20. Included is the envelopes and reply cards. I used basic black ink from my computer with a fancy font from Wilton and it honestly did not use much ink. If your comfortable with eBay and ink refills. This is a great inexpensive way to refill (and buy new) your black ink cartridge. Best of Luck and Congratulations!

After a lot of searching around, we purchased a "DIY wedding invitation kit " from an online site called Inspired Brides: inspiredbrides.com It was less expensive and much less hassle than buying all of the materials separately, plus the designs are really elegant and the how-to instructions really help you get a professional finish!
