Does anyone know where the best place to get really cheap wedding invitations is? I've called myself looking all over the web for the best price on them but I still haven't found any that fit my price range. Please help!

Www.theamericanwedding.com weddingpaperdivas.com target.com (or in stores-they sell cute wedding invitations and all you have to do is type the words yourself and print them out onto the cards-they have several different card types to choose from and I think they run around $30 for a set of $50)

What about making them yourself. Someone I know got a nice photo of the bride & groom ( before the wedding) & put that on the front of a folded card & did the words on the computer, the choice is yours to the type, colour etc. Hope this helps

Do you know what kind of design you are looking for? What quantities are involved? And an approximate budget for your wedding stationery? I handcraft greetings cards, keepsake cards and wedding stationery and may be able to help you. Where abouts do you live?

Have you considered looking into do-it-yourself invitations? You can buy them at any arts and crafts store or at Wal-mart or Target. They have different styles of fancy paper that you can choose from, and then you print out the invitations. It takes a little bit of work, but is probably the cheapest way to do it. For $30 or so you can usually get a set of 50 that will include the invitations, outer envelopes, return envelopes, rsvp cards and often even paper for the wedding programs.

Go down to your local Wal-Mart and check out the invitations by Wilton's. A pack of fifty costs around twelve bucks and all you do is go to the Wilton's website, select the style of the invitation, choose your wording and print out. They come with reply cards and envelopes as well. This is what my husband and I did, then sealed the envelopes with a monogrammed sticker from the dollar tree. Looked spendy but was very, very cheap.

Don't try to make them your self, or even print then your self. Ink is very expensive Then you have the frustration.

Exclusivelyweddings.com is a great site. And they often send me emails with sales and percentages off. Check it out. I know many that have tried to save money by printing out their own but the depending on the printer you have, ink can be VERY expensive and not worth it. You may in the end save $20 and its the stress is just not worth it.
