Question: Cheap wedding invitation site?
(Posted by: Audra B on 2009-01-21 08:36:11)
I've looked through the Birchcraft and Carlton Invitation books at my local bridal shops and they're quite expensive. does anyone know a cheap site to get wedding invitations from? |

I ordered mine from InvitationsbyDawn.com I absolutely loved it. Also check out Ann's Wedding Stationary and Now-and-forever.com. Grab a copy of Brides magazine. They have lots of ads in there for invites that will send you a free catalog but yes local bridal shops with the huge massive books are ridiculously overpriced. |

I went to my local print store and for 300 invites with rsvp it was going to cost me 600!!!!!!!!!!! Then i went to party city and found the exact same invite with rsvp and got them for 325.00!!! all the extras I was going to pay for the 1st time i was no longer paying for. Plus you get like 30% so thats another reason it was cheaper!! So if you have a party store near check them out.. Also davids bridal gives discounts on there invitations. Another place is ebay! they have great cute ones!! good luck |

I picked out my invitations at Michael's. They come in a kit of 40. Yes you do have to put them together but they are only $34.99 per box. Every Sunday our local paper has a 40% coupon in it. I have several people saving them for me so I can go throughout the week and buy a box at a time. It is kind of a hassle but when I look at how much money I am saving I realize that it is worth it! |

When I saw how pricey wedding invitations were I decided to DIY. I searched through the catalogs and picked a design I liked then recreated it on my computer. I actually combined the designs from two separate invitations so mine was actually one of a kind. I purchased the paper and envelopes from a stationery store and printed them on the computer at home. Or you could buy an invitation kit from Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or any other craft store. You can even find them in Wal-Mart. If none of the above works for you, you could check the back of wedding magazines for ads from lots of invitation stores/ sites. |
