Engagement Party Make Your Own

Question: Helping plan an engagement party . . . help?

At my brother's engagement party their theme is gonna be like memorabilia of their college they attend all around and its a barbeque type thing, and I'm wondering what could we place in the middle of the tables that would be creative?

Edible arrangements they look like flowers but are edible.

You can frame a picture of them wearing their college shirts or colors. Or use a picture of their collge mascott Good luck!

I bet you could make some kind of a centerpiece really cheap. If you are close enough to the college campus you can try finding a little stuffed animal or figurine of some kind of the mascot at the bookstores (or even online). I bet you could find some cheap pom poms to put underneath them somehow. This is kinda corny but if it's a casual BBQ then it might be a fun way to incorporate school colors. Any kids attending might like to have the stuffed animal at the end.
