For my engagement party, I got a lot of really nice gifts. 2 of my bridesmaids made us this really cute scrapbook (she is really into scrapbooking) that had the words to our song on one page and pictures of us on the other! I loved it and it was nice to pass around for everyone to see! She stole the pictures from my myspace account! ha Our song was I'll Be by Edwin McCain so she put a versus or a few lines on every other page! My sister got me some awesome champagne flutes that we used at our wedding! I got the matching cake servers too. OH...my best friend and maid of honor got me a gift certificate to get my make-up done on the day of my wedding (including the run-through). I was going to do my own make-up to save money so that was a really nice gift! Hope that gives you a few options! You can also check to see if they have their registry yet? I registered the weekend before our party (I was on a school break and wanted to get a lot out of the way). 1 friend bought something off my registry even though I didn't tell people about it yet! |
