Question: Bf is ditching our engagement party for friends?

So my bf and I just got engaged - YAY!!! A very good friend of mine is going to Las Vegas next month and suggested that he throw me and my bf an engagement bash. Great idea right? Wrong! When I asked my bf if he wanted to go to Vegas and celebrate HE SAID NO!! He had planned a week long trip with his friends the exact same time my friend is in Vegas! Granted that he had planned the trip way before we had even met (we've been friends for a year and dating for a couple months) but Come on! How many times do you get engaged? And how many friends do you have that will foot the bill for a PARTY IN VEGAS!?!? Someone help me out with some wise words? yeah I realize a couple months isnt long to date someone before you pop the question but - he and I are like two halves of the same whole... So please dont bring up the point of how long weve been dating

Well maybe for him he will be getting engaged again...later.....after you two get divorced...when you realize you married someone after being together as a couple for a few months..... clearly its not that important to him. i sounded harsh. sorry. but hes choosing his friends over you, and well i mean he should hes been planning this trip, maybe you should be the one thinking about changing the date.
