If I was going that route, I'd go buy a cheap publisher program. In fact is you already have a full version of MS Office you'll have Publisher. Once you have the program you can design your cards. Most programs have templates to get you started if you need help. But because paper can be pricy for real nice invite I'll also include link to online Invitation creation sites. Basicly you design and they print them. Some let you design and print but sell special paper. In the end I think you'll be happer with the results. Below are some links: |

If you go to any craft store, you can find print-your-own invitations. You'd have to buy them, but they come out looking very professional. Do you have a Michael's Craft Store near you? If so, you can find a coupon for Michael's each week in the newspaper for "40% off any one item. " Buy a couple of newspapers the day the coupon comes out and you'll be all set. |

Go to a Hallmark card shop. I got some great printable invitations there for my folks 50th wedding anniversary for $10 a box. They were very elegant and had gold trim. |

Tarhet has them, so does Office Depot and Office Max. Heck, Wlamart probably does too. If you print them at home, set the text color to like 60% and they will be silvery looking. |

Make your own. get some bridal magazines and they alwaya have verses in them. Pick on out, with the correct wording that you like and print them out yourself. Wal-mart has card stock that you can use. It comes in many colors. Our wedding colors were ivory and hunter green. We printed (in black ink) our invites on ivory cards found at a craft store then made a small hole in the top center of the invite and tied a huntergreen ribbon in a pretty bow. Then we glued a tiny pink rose (also found at Wal-mart) in the center of the invite. We used card stock for the response cards (made them like post cards). The envelopes came with the cards and to make them look pretty we brought a wedding ring stamp and gold ink and put one stamp where you put the seal (or sticker) on the back of it. |
