When should wedding invitations be mailed?
My wedding is the first weekend of September. Its now 7 12. My Mom says its way too early to get them mailed out. When should I get them out?
I want to have someone print in gold a monogram on my wedding invitations?
Can you help me with this?Everywhere we asked they either don't print anything in gold or they they have a huge range of pricing even if we provide the actual invitations.
Does anyone know a free website for printing wedding invitations?
or at least a site that will give me samples of what do say on my invitations?
Stuffing wedding invitations tonight, might have left out a response card or two. What to do?
Fiance and I divided the duties of stuffing, sealing, and stamping the invitations. One of us might have left out a response card in an invitation or two. Do I call the couple of people who might have not received the full invitation bundle and ask if they didn't get a response card or just go ahead and send another response card at the same time and explain it later? Probably only 2 invitations are affected. The only reason that I don't want to just send out a completely new invitation bundle is that the professionally printed envelopes look so nice. I don't want these people to not get an invite with a fancy addressed envelope. I realize that might be silly, but I want everything to be so elegant and right.
Questions about wedding invitations?
I have a couple questions about wedding invitations. Okay first Do i really have to mail them all? and by this I mean like to my mother in law, my sister inlaw.....and so forth. the reason I wondering is because like 30 % of our guest live so close to me i could walk to their house, my mother in law lives 5 house down, my sister in law about 3 blocks, my fiance's friend next door. Do i need to mail their invitesDo you get upset if the RSVP card is not a mail in but has a phone number, email, and wedding website? do you really think that it looks cheap.i'm asking this because very wedding i have gone to there has either been to RSVP or just a number to call. It has never bothered me either way, But I really would like to save a bit i know it wont be much of cash, because of the type of invites for postage it is gonna cost 1.10 per invite, and there are 50...It would cost like 75 dollars because it is 52 cents a stamp, to send the RSVP cards back to send them all by mail and do the RSVP. Thanks We are using the knot as well...I LOVE IT
Please can you give me ideas for photographic wedding invitations?
I'm a photographer and considering creating 'postcard' invites because I want it to be something I make and I think these will be handy for guests to stick to the fridge etc.The question is what do I photograph? I thought about something simple like 'Wedding Invitation' written in sand on the beach before a sunset ooor something like that but it CANNOT be cheesy P I don't do cheesy and I am wondering if that would be a bit cheesy. I don't want a picture of us on the front because I like to stay behind the cameraI dont want JUST a landscape photoI do have the ability to add text graphics and I'm pretty handy with all forms of digital editing I am VERY open to novel clever ideasI am also open to ideas that are created entirely on the computer it doesn' HAVE to be a photo Thank you in advance but please no cheesy ideas
Where are brides getting the idea it is okay to include registry info with the wedding invitations?
Are the bridal magazines and websites, who are far more beholden to their advertisers than the brides, now telling brides that this greedy behavior is okay?Ah ha, so I see the stores are behind this Why am I not surprised? Jaded, I'm sorry you felt I was personally calling you greedy. You may be the nicest, non greediest person on Earth, but the behavior of enclosing registry information with a wedding invitation is considered greedy by many, including myself. It is perfectly acceptable to include it with shower invitations as showers are not thrown by showeree bride or expecting mother and are for the purpose of showering gifts onto the showeree. The purpose of a wedding is to celebrate one's nuptials, NOT to give gifts. Thus, gifts should not be solicited by the couple. You can provide the registry info only if asked. It should never be provided unsolicited.
Has anyone out there used zazzle.co.uk for wedding invitations?
Their selection is like nothing else I have been able to find in the internet, and they claim to post out custom orders within 24 hours. They are very in expensive as well. Compared to all others i have researched, they seem too good to be true love what I see and would like any opinions anyone might have that has used them for this purpose
Where do i go to print my store bought blank wedding invitations?
I bought blank invites from Target. i am trying to figure out the most cost effective way to print out my wedding invites... However, I do not know where to look in order to compare prices on printing. would it just be cheaper to print them at home? how easy is that? or just order them online?
Help with finding my wedding invitations?
I have looked through tons of wedding invitations online, but I just can't find something that jumps out at me. We are having a black and white wedding with touches of deep red roses. It is a very contemporary wedding and we want the wedding invitations to look modern. Can you please help this stressed out bride...pictures would be awesome Thank you in advance

However, here's the dilemma. My side...My parents were divorced and each remarried, and my father has passed away.Without giving exact names I was thinking this was the proper wayMrs. Jane & Mr. John Doe mom and stepdad and the late Mr. Jonah & Mrs. Jan Dot dad and stepmom Sorry if this is confusing
Wedding invitation help!?
I bought one of those DIY wedding ivitation kits so I'm printing my wedding invitations myself and I basically need to know word for word what the invitations should say if my parents are paying for the whole wedding and if the reception is at the same place as the ceremony. I'm kind of in a rush to get the invites out so any help is appreciated Thanks
Is it rude to pull a wedding invitation because of cost?
A closer friend of mine sent out his wedding invitations several months ago to myself " and guest" . I was single at the time, but recently entered a relationship and RSVPed with a guest. I received an apology today that unfortunately due to the mounting costs my guest would no longer be able to come. I'm pretty good friends with this person, but feel extremely annoyed by this. I don't want to tell someone they can't come after they've committed to it.Am I wrong?
How to Include Gift Registry With Wedding Invitations?
My fiance and I were discussing mailing out our wedding invitations this weekend our wedding is in October . Is that too early? Also, are we supposed to indicate where we have our gift registry with the invitations? If so, how do you do that? Our invitations are beautiful and I don't want to ruin them with an Internet printout. How did you do indicate where you were registered? Our invitations are already printed so I can't type this information on them. Should I order multipurpose cards with our invitation design with the registry info? I'm so confused.
