I like the first one. Just be aware, that printing on dark paper takes a special type of ink and is more expensive. I am doing navy blue metallic color paper for my invitations and programs. ( We are making them ourselves, got a GREAT deal on bulk stationary) We had to find a printer who could print on the dark paper. Silver ink is a special ink, it costs $45-$60 just to put it on the printer, and then the cost of printing each page on top of that. Sometimes they have to run it through the printer more than once to get it to be legible. It is called off-set printing. I would be wary of buying off-set printing like this online when you don't get to see a sample and say yes or no. The font on your sample is white, and white is even harder than silver because it is more opaque than solid. Just be wary and make sure this company is reputable. Prints and such are hard to find for returns if it isn't what you expect. You might have better luck designing your own and finding a printer to work with you so you can be involved in the process and get exactly what you are looking for. The other option is that they are printing all that black onto white paper of some sort. I doubt that is what this company is doing, because it will mess with the quality of the paper because of the amount of ink that the paper will soak up I have a minor in art and my fiance is an architect, we have both worked with this type of printing before. It can be very difficult. Be all this said, I love the first choice more than the second, it is very appealing to the eye. I just want to make sure you aren't getting scammed!!! Good luck and I hope your invitations turn out beautifully! |

I like them both, so I would just choose the one that matches decor etc. |

I like the first one, although with a black background how well will you be able to see the print? That is the only think I'd want to know. I wonder if you can find a similar design that is lighter. It's very elegant though. Good luck! |

Loved the first one - didn't like the second one at all. I see what Reba is saying, but the darker color will actually make it easier to read, I'd think. And this also assumes that it's easier to read in person than on line. |

Def the first one, and i design wedding invitations all the time!! the second one looks a bit like a wallpaper pattern. is your colour scheme black and white? because i think if so then its very elegant and the first one sets off the tone more than the second. |
