I need help with my wedding invitations?

Question: I need help with my wedding invitations?

(Posted by: J on 2010-01-26 08:28:36)

Long story short. My parents are divorced. Both are remarried. My mom just got remarried and I do not know her husband. However, he is paying for about 10 % to 15 % of some of the costs. I am not comfortable saying that he is "presenting " me as his daughter. So my mom suggested that I change the wording because he is paying to something like "we would like to invite you to.... ". I don't think I want to change the wording. Any advice on this? Any way to include her husband somehow so he gets recognized? Thanks! The current wording i am using is: Mr. and Mrs. X with Mrs. Y present their daughter, (Me).... Leaving my mom's husband off.

I recently got married and my parents are divorced and both are remarried. I listed it like this: Mr. and Mrs. James Donovan (my dad) and Mr. and Mrs. Jerrry Satterberg (my mom) request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Hope this helps!
