Question: When to send wedding invitations?

My wedding is July 17, 2010 but the caterer needs the exact number of people by June 28. When should I mail out the invitations?

Usually, invitations are supposed to be sent out about 2-3 months before the wedding and make the RSVP date a few weeks before the caterers need the final number to allow for the late RSVP's.

We sent ours out two months before our wedding. I would recommend not sending them out past the end of March to give people enough time to RSVP. Congrats!

I think 2 months is standard
