You can do so many things. They have ones that you can plant and they grow into flowers. Ones that look like back stage passes at a concert. They can be made out of anything from mini cakes to fabric or plastic You can do just about anything. It would help if we knew a little more about your wedding.

You can create really creative invitations in Photoshop with pictures of the 2 of you. And one thing I have done that has brought a lot of positive response is to line the envelopes with photocopies of photos. I got this idea from Martha Stewart.
