Question: What do i wear to a "vegas style" wedding rehearsal dinner?

The wedding itself is formal, but I have no idea about the rehearsal dinner. It's at some country club thing...Do I wear a dress? How is it different from the wedding dress- code etiquette? And what does it mean that the thing is "Vegas style "? What should I expect?

If the wedding is in the spring or summer, you will look just right in a nice sundress (not too revealing, of course!) or a skirt and top. Try to avoid pants or jeans, just in case it is a little more formal than that (and it might be if it's in a country club) The whole Vegas-style thing, I would assume, is just the theme of the party (maybe a casino night theme or something like that), and doesn't necessarily mean you have to dress like a showgirl. However, if you want to add a little bling to your outfit in honor of the glitz and glamour in Vegas, just go with a cool, funky accessory like a sparkly bracelet or earrings. Don't wear a sequined dress!!
