Question: Is it okay to wear white to a wedding rehearsal & dinner?

I have a white summer dress that i was going to put a peach colored cardigan over and i was going to wear it to my friend's wedding ceremony rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The link doesn't work. When in doubt, don't. good luck ETA: Is a cute dress, but some brides like to wear white to the RD too. I wore with to my RD and I've been to weddings where the bride wore white too. I think with you wear a color cardigan it would be fine, but I;m not the bride, you should ask her, you would be surprised how many brides would be upset.

It's just the rehearsal, and as long as you wear the sweater, I'd say it's fine.

Ask the bride! For the rehearsal it shouldnt matter BUT I wouldnt for the wedding or dinner, just because white is usually just for the bride. But I would ask the bride, some are really picky, some are not. SOme guests might comment on it though, its up to you, but just consider the bride = )

From having experience throwing my wedding. When 1 brides mates showed up in white it took away the special feeling and color that i was suppose to wear being the bride. Let the bride have the whit and were a dress thats casual an or jeans and a rlly nice top! have fun!

If she's been acting irrational throughout the planning, then no - because your innocent dress (which is super cute, btw) will make her wonder what you'll try to wear to the wedding.

Only if you wear the cardigan and keep it on for most of the time, otherwise it may offend the bride... (I wouldn't mind anyone at my wedding in white, but everyone is different)

I personally wouldnt unless you wanna give the bride a stress attack before her main day, if you really set of wearing the dress then add a colour to it, so the bride doesnt think your trying to outshine her day.
